NEXT ERA PROGRAM PRESENTED

Four JAG students from Jena High School – Brock Shively, Serenity McCoy, Karrizzma Kittlin, and Paris Simmons - presented a brief program on dangers of smoking to members of the LaSalle Parish School Board during its regular meeting for May. The program, “Next Era”, is a statewide youth movement for high school students in Louisiana. It is a program of the Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living and the mission is to promote a healthy, tobacco-free Louisiana.
