4th Annual Youth Summit on Tobacco

The 4th Annual Louisiana Youth Summit on Tobacco, hosted by the Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living and The Louisiana Tobacco Control Program, is a one day summit where student leaders from across Louisiana address tobacco industry marketing that targets youth, youth access to tobacco products, and tobacco-related local policy change. For the past three years the event has consisted of nationally recognized speakers and presenters, panel discussions, advocacy and prevention training, small group discussions and activities that created tobacco-related policy recommendations. Past summits have ended on the steps of the Louisiana State Capitol with youth speakers (chosen by their fellow youth participants) leading a statewide press conference. With a focus on local policy change, we hope to make this year even bigger and better! Youth, adults, and organizations are all encouraged to apply!

Due to the overwhelming response the 4th Annual Louisiana Youth Summit on Tobacco had to close registration early because we have reached capacity. Thank you for your interest! We hope to see you next year!
